Client Objective
Rady Children’s wanted to update their website with a responsive and modern design. The client wanted to communicate the high quality care patients receive and also demonstrate their capabilities as a leading research hospital with cutting-edge technology.
We built Rady Children’s a custom WordPress site that focused on improving the user experience and was easy for staff to maintain.

Build a Foundation
We start every project with a discovery session with stakeholders and begin an audit of all current digital assets. This step helps us level-set priorities with different teams across Rady Children’s. We analyzed how users are interacting with the site, what is performing well, what needs to be improved, and how we can streamline. The discovery sessions set the foundation needed to plan and design our project initiatives.
Better User Experience
Our mobile responsive design allows users to access content from any device. We took it a step further by updating all digital assets to match the new branding. If a user makes a donation, signs up for an event, or receives an e-newsletter - it is a cohesive user experience across all platforms.
Streamline Navigation
One of the biggest pain points amongst website visitors was finding what they were looking for. This resulted in the user either giving up or contacting someone for help. We analyzed data on exactly what users were clicking on and how they are engaging with the website. This informed the navigation we created to reflect those key areas and reduce overall friction.
