Cincinnati Children's Hospital
TeamRaiser Enhancement
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital wanted to enhance their Annual Walk in Blackbaud TeamRaiser® by introducing custom QR codes. This custom feature was designed to simplify the process of sharing personal and team fundraising pages within participants' networks, thus hoping to boost fundraising and recruitment efforts.

Our Solution:
Personal and Team Fundraising Pages
We integrated custom QR codes on both personal and team fundraising pages, making them downloadable and scannable. This feature significantly eases the sharing of these pages, particularly through mobile devices, enhancing participant engagement.
Participant Center
The custom QR codes were strategically placed in two key areas within the participant center: on the homepage and within the email module. This placement allows participants to effortlessly access, download, and share their QR codes directly through emails, expanding their reach to their network.
Autoresponders and Email Messages
We also enabled the use of QR codes in autoresponder and email communications, allowing Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to effectively communicate this new capability and highlight it to their participants.
Tracking parameters
The custom QR code was equipped with tracking parameters, including Luminate source and subsource codes as well as GA UTM parameters. This addition enables Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to accurately track and analyze the interactions resulting from the use of these QR codes, providing valuable insights into their effectiveness.

- The Parkinson’s Foundation wanted to increase engagement with their tribute fundraisers, encouraging more users to honor loved ones living with Parkinson’s or commemorate those who have passed from the disease. While the Foundation already had a Tribute Fundraiser set up in Blackbaud TeamRaiser®, they recognized the need for improvements before launching a major marketing push.
- The Kids Mental Health Foundation wanted to redesign their ecommerce store on Blackbaud Luminate Online® to enhance user experience and ensure mobile responsiveness across devices. The goal was to integrate internal and external products seamlessly into a unified platform while incorporating special features such as filters for store and product types. Additionally, the redesign aimed to boost overall fundraising efforts by providing a more engaging and user-friendly shopping experience.
- Boston Children’s Hospital Trust (BCHT) had a big goal in mind, make the user experience (UX) between Drupal and Luminate Online (LO) so smooth and intuitive that users don’t even realize they’ve switched platforms.
