Testimonials

  • Beth Israel Lahey Health
"In addition to being highly professional, fun, and holding themselves accountable for delivering high quality work, the team at Doing Good Digital has been a valuable partner in our efforts to build and scale up digital philanthropy outreach across our growing system of hospitals and clinical centers. The Doing Good Digital team has integrated smoothly into our existing direct response fundraising program, helping our digital strategy become more robust. Thanks to their expertise, during a time when resources are tight, especially in health care, our DGD team has consistently come to the table with a positive and creative approach that has helped us maximize our impact while staying on budget. They have helped us develop more efficient production work streams and provided regular analysis, keeping our decisions strategic and informed by data. We feel fortunate to have them as part of our team!"
    Amy Ferguson
Executive Director, Philanthropy Direct Response, Beth Israel Lahey Health
  • Food Bank of Central Louisiana
"As a development director with little to no professional experience in digital fundraising and marketing, our partnership with Doing Good Digital was just what our food bank needed. After attending Feeding America’s Digital Strategy Institute in 2023, we learned that we didn’t need to know how to do everything ourselves but could partner with an experienced agency. That’s exactly what we found with Doing Good Digital. They provide the expertise and tools we need to enhance our digital acquisition, retention, and engagement programs."
    Linda Hutson
Director of Development and Community Relations, Food Bank of Central Louisiana

“A true partner. We love working with Doing Good Digital! Their team is not only super skilled in digital marketing but also genuinely passionate about helping us achieve our mission. They've been friendly, creative, and incredibly effective since day one. Thanks to their innovative strategies, our fundraising efforts have soared, and we’re connecting with more people than ever. They understand what nonprofits need and go above and beyond to ensure our success. We can't recommend Doing Good Digital enough—they're simply the best!”
    Kathy Dalton
    Annual Giving Specialist, Intermountain Foundation
  • “Thank goodness for a Blackbaud webinar and Paul’s offer for a free 30-minute consultation! We had just implemented Luminate Online and were facing a steep learning curve. Partnering with DGD soon after has helped us grow our digital infrastructure faster and with better quality. Their strategists and technical experts help us determine what to do now, what to do next, and how to incrementally operationalize our goals for digital communications and online giving. Doing Good has helped us tackle countless projects, large and small, from redesigning our giving forms and email templates to launching an entire Supporter Center and donor acquisition strategy. They’re always an extension of our team but when our Luminate manager was on parental leave for several months, we didn’t skip a beat because DGD staff stepped in to provide coverage for even the day-to-day work. I’m grateful for the ongoing support Doing Good provides and, best of all, they’re just fun people to work with!”
    Tara Miller
Vice President of Annual Programs, Bon Secours Mercy Health Foundation
  • "Our nonprofit walked into this process needing a lot of advice and direction! Thanks to Lisa, Paul and their team, we were able to get to the other side of building a website and conquering the world of social media at the same time. As our followers on social media increased, we learned so much! Lisa's guidance and support was paramount in this effort. Paul and his team were able to walk us through the process of integrating our sales system and mailchimp together while building us a website. This was all done in an organized and efficient manner. Doing Good Digital lessened our workload of data entry during and after the process. We are now operating at full efficiency thanks to his direction. Working with DGD is like working with friends you have known forever. They are supportive, always there and ready to help! We were so fortunate to find DGD and highly recommend them!”
    Rebecca Apfelberg
    Co-Founder, Change 4 Children’s
  • “Doing Good Digital provided quick thinking and thoughtful support during a busy and stressful time. It was great knowing that they were right there with us, supporting us the whole way. The results speak for themselves – our last Giving Tuesday shattered all our expectations. Many thanks!”

Associate Director - Direct Response, Children's Hospital Los Angeles

"We're very happy to be working with Doing Good Digital and strongly recommend them to any NFP that needs support or expert input on Luminate. Bruce Baugham is a real pleasure to work with. He's making our job much easier and has lots of good ideas on how to improve our fundraising.”
    Karen Devine
Director of Marketing and Communications, St. Joseph's Health Centre Foundation
  • Jewish Family Services Logo
“One would expect customer service, quick turnaround, and fantastic results from a vendor. But working with Doing Good Digital quickly evolved into a partnership where we discuss long-term strategy and receive guidance and coaching so that my team can take their great idea and run with it. With good humor and clarity, they've taken my vision and expanded it to a strategy that is producing results!”
    Michael Stern
Senior Director of Marketing, Jewish Family Service of San Diego
  • "We had the pleasure of working with the DGD team on our first international fundraising project for our organization.  We chose DGD because we could not find another partner that offered all the tools we needed under one platform. We had a very tight deadline for this project and they delivered.  We developed a great partnership with the DGD team and their dedication to our website is evident in all aspects of the site.  We appreciate their attention to detail, flexibility and creative approach to bringing our #WeDance4ALS website to life online.  The whole process was pleasant and we are proud of our partnership with Doing Good Digital and are very happy with our website.”
    Angel Moser
    Director of Development, Augie’s Quest
  • "Throughout the entire project, the support, dedication, creativity, and willingness to go far beyond the scope of work is superior to anything I have experienced in the last decade! Working with Doing Good Digital gives my organization complete peace of mind, knowing we are presented professionally and adhering to our high brand standards. They are our "go-to" for every project!"

“Working with Doing Good Digital has been such a great experience. They helped us execute a seamless and successful social media campaign for National Cupcake Day™, a fundraising initiative that supports local shelters, SPCAs, and Humane Societies across Canada. They provided such quick support whenever we needed them, always responsive and supportive. I would highly recommend Doing Good Digital and we can’t wait to partner with them on our next project.”

Click to Cancel: New Regulations for Your Recurring Gift Program
IThe FTC recently updated its longstanding Negative Option Rule, now called the Rule Concerning Recurring Subscriptions and Other Negative Option Programs, to strengthen protections for consumers. This update is designed to curb misleading enrollment and billing practices in subscription models. • NEW CASE STUDY: Updated Donation Forms!

Many organizations face the challenge of outdated, unresponsive, or poorly designed donation forms that hinder their fundraising efforts.

Montreal Heart Institute saw a remarkable 25.5% increase in average donation size after switching from a single-column to our multi-step donation form.

Rady Children’s Hospital achieved a 56.5% increase in average gift size. An updated design, fully integrated with their new branding, played a crucial role in this improvement, demonstrating the power of a well-designed and branded donation form.

Ovarian Cancer Canada saw immediate results, with more than double the number of transactions (a 118% increase). The average gift size increased by 14.5%, and in just over seven months, the new form raised 150% more than the previous form did over nine months. The combination of a beautiful rebrand and our modern, accessible form design was one of the factors to this success.
